. Query String-Based Authentication - Developed webpage's containing

expiring links to video files stored on S3 buckets on Amazon using

Query String-Based Authentication. Used Java, Servlets, HTML, CSS, and

JSP for different components for the project. Used Amazon EC2

instance.

. Peer to Peer Publish Subscribe Management System - Used Sockets and

Collections for effective transfer of file and data structure over the

network. Effectively handled deadlock situation using synchronization.

. Implemented Online Library Management System using HTML, PHP as front-

end and Oracle as back-end.

. Designed and implemented Java application to find out the broken links

on a webpage. Used HTMLEditorKit class to read the contents of the

URL.

. Text to Speech Synthesis - Used MS Speech API and VC++ to design this

application. Audio output can be stored in various formats (.wav,

.mp3, .avi). Punctuations, abbreviations were properly interpreted.

Jr. Java Software Engineer Intern at Xigua Mobile Inc

October 2010-Present

. Implemented a filter to extract the relevant tweets of celebrities.

Used Twitter Streaming API and Twitter4J API for getting the current

tweets from the celebrities.

. Using Apache Lucene for indexing and advanced analysis/tokenization of

the tweets and developing customized text search engine providing

functionalities for spellchecking, hit highlighting and extracting

relevant information from the tweets.

. Responsible for implementing Hibernate as well as JDBC layer for

persistence transactions and managed the DB using SQLyog tool.

. Involved in managing servers on Amazon cloud computing services.

June 2010-August 2010

. Worked in a team environment to develop prepaid billing rules for on

Real Time Charging System (RCS) for IDEA cellular network using

Telcordia's Proprietary software. Involved in testing these rules on

Windows and UNIX.

. Implemented a web based software utility to validate a feature ('run

call') that generates reports in xml/txt format. Parsed these reports

using shell scripts to verify the data. Used Java and Servlets for

business logic along with JSP, CSS and HTML for UI. Developed using

eclipse IDE and deployed using Tomcat.
