Description:

The Wireless project by Comcast is on the verge to be released . With this

new product release Comcast is delivering High Speed Wireless Internet

service (3G/4G/DM) devices. The product is already launched in Philadelphia

and few other parts of the country. Comcast aims to be the first and the

best Wireless High Speed Internet service provider. Currently working on

End to End testing of the Billing system maintained by Comcast for the

devices.

Responsibilities:

< Analyzed the Business Requirements Documents and involved in writing the

Design Steps and Test Cases, Test scenarios as per the Test Plan.

< Executed Test cases against the various scenarios for the different

cycles and phases of the Application.

< Extensively tracked and raised Defects for the break in the code and the

functionality and reported to the developer using Quality Center by

taking appropriate snapshots, feeds and XML's.

< Retested and performed Regression testing whenever received a New Code

drop .

< Conducted Shake out tests prior to executing the actual test cycle to

test the basic functionalities of the application.

< Involved in the complete End to End Testing of the two Billing Systems by

Comcast that support multiple device and single device for the QA test

environment.

< The E2E tasks involved creating of the accounts for the various devices

in Biller(front end UI), then checking the flow in the UI, shipping the

devices through SOAP UI, checking the code flow from Front end Billing

System to the backend Database and then finally checking whether the

devices requested stored in database and checking the Usage and Monthly

Billing cycle of all the devices.

< Responsible in creation of daily Defect Report and attending the Defect

review meeting, coordinating with the developers for the issues and

Verizon Wireless maintains a portal for the customers to access their

account, view and pay bills online and manage the account by activating,

deleting and suspending the secondary accounts associated to the primary

account, The ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT Portal is a web based application helps the

customer to access the account flexible.

Responsibilities:

Analyzed the Business Requirements and involved in the SDLC and complete

Bug Life Cycle.

Involved in preparing Test Strategy document, Test plan, Test Scenarios.

< Created, documented and executed Test cases corresponding to Business

Requirement Documents and reported defects to developer using Quality

Center.

< Conducted a wide range of quality tests to ensure software meets

individually. It provides the users a web-based query interface where they

can enter their search queries and view the results. Implemented using XML

CTU Blackboard: Worked on in house project of enhancing the

functionalities of the school's web based application that included online

submissions, access to online library, HR using SQL*plus, SQL Loader, Pl

Sql, Visio, MS Office. Manually tested the GUI, functionality and overall

performance.
