1. Electronic Data Feeds (EDF):
The strategic purpose of the Electronic Data Feeds (EDF) project
was to provide reporting and data feeds to MassMutual's strategic
distribution channels by sending file feeds from the RS Information
Factory to Distribution Firms, like Morgan Stanley and UBS which
includes financial and distribution data for all contracts and plan
types associated with the firm. These files were sent either daily
or once a month based on the customer's request. Moving the source
data into the data warehouse also made distribution data available
to the Siebel Customer Data Mart (CDM) for reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
. Involved with the Business analysts in requirements gathering,
business analysis and project coordination.
. Analyze the source systems data and the current files at the
client side to gather the requirements for the Data Warehouse Data

2. Pyxis Mobile:
Lead Informatica Developer
The purpose of the Pyxis project was to provide a mobile solution
for accessing data to the Retirement Services Sales
Representatives. Through a Blackberry device they would be able to
access a portion of the Siebel CRM application, as well as view
reports about that data created from the Siebel Analytics data
mart. Data was extracted from the Siebel CRM and the Seibel
Analytics databases using Informatica, and loaded to a staging area
on a SQL server database. From there the data was loaded to the
Pyxis database, which would be accessible via Blackberry devices.
