A leading U.S. developer of clean energy projects, with a unique focus on renewable energy technologies and
backed by the nation’s largest energy focused private equity partner.
Senior Environmental Analyst, 2007 to Present
Technical lead in charge of construction permitting on the 700MW super critical coal fired Longview Power Plant
located in Maidesvile, West Virginia. Provide leadership to operations staff in the development and implementation
of environmental programs, policies and procedures to assure compliance with federal, state and local regulatory
requirements.
Selected Accomplishments:
Direct environmental compliance program on the $1.8 billion Longview Power Construction Project. Overall
responsibility for environmental permitting, compliance, and monitoring of water and fuel supply infrastructure
construction projects.
Lead a multidisciplinary team in development, design and permitting of a 4.5 mile coal conveyor corridor to
support the 700 MW Longview Power Plant.
Negotiated permit modifications with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection District Mining
Office for project savings of $1.2 million dollars.
Completed all environmental due diligence investigation for the purchase of over 450 acres of abandoned coal
mining and industrial properties.
Supervised development and permitting of a 10,000 gallon per minute water intake, treatment and pipeline
system to supply the Longview Power Plant with cooling and process water.
Directed the development, design and permitting of a 35 acre private industrial landfill to support a 100MW
biomass power plant in Clay County, Georgia.
