Private Mathematics/Physics Tutor (2005 Present)
I have been tutoring both mathematics and physics for many years. I have taught many levels of math;
predominantly algebra and calculus.
UPS Seasonal Delivery Helper (holidays 2010 2011) I did this for exercise and fun
Physics Lab Instructor Texas State University (2006 2008)
Note: The experience I gained as a lab instructor significantly impacted my education in physics, my leadership abilities,
and many other micro skills (those I imagine, to an employer, are desirable in any valued employee. A summary of the
various sections I taught follow:
2006–2007 fall semester: Physics 2 I guided my students as they performed various hands on experiments. It was my
job to explain concepts and oversee the student’s use of lab equipment; i.e. safety, multi meters, assembly of simple
circuits.
2007 spring semester: Calculus based physics 1 (mechanics). This section required a considerably more sophisticated
level of grading and teaching on my part, both conceptually and mathematically.
2007 2008 fall semester: General physics 1
2008 2009 Same sections listed
Physics Tutor
for Texas State University (2006 2008)
The Physics Department hired me to tutor students in general physics.

(non expert in either), and Excel for data analysis, various photo editing ware. I tend to learn new software very quickly,
and am currently self teaching C.
Additional Skills/ Qualifications/Abilities
Problem solving, using logical skills to comprehend and complete tasks with little external aid, troubleshooting (multiple
contexts), writing, innovation, and data analysis I have experience with: machinery, circuits, shop tools, tile, welding,
soldering, and analog and digital audio recording, music/ instruments.
Additional Areas of Knowledge/ Interests
