Portal, Webcenter and Teradata's MDM products. She has worked on cloud computing as a part of smaller stint at Picorp. She has worked on

Opensource as well as commercial automation tools She has done testing and quality analysis which has included functionality testing, GUI

Client: Train Travel Ticket Retail Company

(October 2010 – Present)

Ashwini is presently working on this project with a major retail domain company, based in the UK. As a

part of the QA team, She is involved in leading one of the functional teams and part of the automated

testing on the project. The tool being used in the project was SeleniumRC with C#. She was also involved

in manual testing and other test planning activities for the project. her role also includes talking to the

clients frequently showcasing the functionality developed by the team and automation activities being

carried over in the project.

The testing requirement in this project is of a very different kind. This team is building kind of a product for

the customer that can drive common functionality across 25 different websites. The requirement is to get

all these websites tested which are running on top of a common code base.

The test framework built in this project provides the intelligence to a single script to run on all different

websites and test the common functionality. This framework being built in C# uses a lot of OOPs

implementation to make life easier for writing and maintaining the test scripts.

This project is being developed in C# .Net. Databases used in the project are oracle and SQL. This project

also deals with a lot of third party interfaces. The project is aimed towards handling the retail business

activities for the client.

Client: OpenMRS ( Non-Profit Organization for medical records)

(August 2010 – September 2010)

Ashwini worked on this project with senior developer for performance only

release . She was involved in getting the grinder (Java Performance testing)

tool setup on for the global team and designed the End – to End performance

scenario to automate the manual test and execute it on Continuous

integration. Before the worldwide hackathon baseline performs data was

collected and after the hackathon we got the performance comparison which

was very useful to improve the code base.This project is and opensource

project and in grinder the scripts were written in Jython.

Client: leading automotive traders in the US

(Feb 2010 – July 2010)

Ashwini led the team that developed a web application using Ruby on Rails to

handle grounding of leased cars in the US. The application had to manage

large data sets of over a million cars and extensive details of each vehicle

along with lease information. As the QA lead, Ashwini was involved in :-

1)Functional testing and reviewing Story narratives and coming up with test

scenarios.

2) Managing functional testing, release and iteration planning.

3) Finding performance issues

4) Deployment to production testing.

5) Working with other client teams to test REST based services for internal and

external vendors.

Client: Leading US Consultancy Company

(August 2009 – Jan 2010)

The client is a US based consultancy company with a global presence. The project involved building a custom CRM

like tool for the Marketing department that manages contacts, clients and alumni. The application pulled Contact

information from varied sources (Outlook for one, internet facing apps with user profiles for another) into a central

database, pushed updates back to the source systems and allowed data sanitization, search, updates, and mailers

to be sent using the central database through a Silverlight client.

The main challenges in this system involved data synchronization between the various components, migration of

contact data in exchange and relational databases from an older system, developing an Outlook Addin with some

COM interactions and using Silverlight, in its infancy, for an enterprise line of business application UI.

Ashwini worked as a QA leads in this project and was involved in the QA process of the various components, the

automation and manual testing of the first version.

The application was built with WCF web services, Sql Server 2005, Silverlight, WebDav for exchange and an

Outlook 2003 Addin in .NET with WPF.

Worked on the product MDM (Master Data Management.) as a QA Lead/ Manager and handling team of 5

QA engineers. Test Infrastructure building for MDM using various tools. Defining Product Development

process flow and initiating the tools evaluation drive. End-to-End Product development setup building. I

am responsible for building Framework of End-to –End product lifecycle including various types of testing

stack testing, high availability, upgrade, performance testing, Nightly build smoke test automation.

Successfully conducted Tools evaluation and tools implementation drive for MDM which is common

across Teradata. Product on which I am working on has Analytical as well as Operational usage in DW and

ADW. Worked on VMware ESXi setup for better QA infrastructure. Prior to joining Teradata Ashwini worked
