Proposed a novel idea to use OTEC (Ocean Thermal Energy

Conversion) as a form of co-generation with open cycle

nuclear plants; to capture waste heat, cut cost of OTEC

technology by 70%, extend OTEC beyond current geographical

limits and meet local TMDL requirements.

buildings, through product selection, modelling using

AutoCAD to check for spatial feasibility, and energy

analysis using PVWATTS.

Worked as an energy developer - conceptualized a 270MW Wind

Farm to meet the energy supply goals for a 100,000 customer

base in Southern California. Design aspects included

technology, transmission, farm and EIS siting, permitting,

and optimizing levelized cost of energy.

policy (SB 17) and NIST recommendations on Smart Grid

electricity market.

. Working with Investor Owned utilities, Policy

stakeholders and National Laboratories in bringing HPC

into smart grid RD&D and into the market, following

rigorous industry standard testing.
