Time and Attendance System Project, Business Analyst
Time and Attendance System is a secure, highly flexible,
fully automated workforce management computer system
designed for New York City that replaces the time-intensive
and labor-consuming manual record keeping methods once used
by municipal employees throughout the city. This web-based
system serves 80 Mayoral and other Agencies of the City of
New York, such as NYPD, FDNY, District Attorney Offices,
NYC Police Pension Fund, Teachers Retirement System, Office
of Labor Relations, HPD, et al. with over 170,000 users:
. Provides objective and consistent application of
citywide compensation rules and policies as defined by
collective bargaining agreements.
. Automates the generation of pay and leave transactions.
. Automatically sends leave, overtime, and timesheets to
the appropriate supervisors for approval.
. Interfaces with Payroll Management System (PMS) for pay
and leave processing.
. Supports FLSA compliance, FMLA event codes, worker's
compensation, budget/labor tracking, midweek changes
(title, salary, pay status, etc.), and other citywide
compensation rules and policies as defined by collective
bargaining agreements.

timesheet on a single screen. Added information about
employee's historical records (Title, Pay Type,

responsibilities, as a Mortgage Documents analyst and
developer, consisted of:
. analyzing, in cooperation with the Compliance
department, specific requirements of each group of
states or an individual state for the package of loan
documents;
. translating specific document requirements into
business rules and functional specifications;
. creating document templates using sophisticated
proprietary software (UniFi);
. creating complex SQL views, embedded and ad-hoc SQL
queries, and elaborated stored procedures;
. designing custom COM components encapsulating calls
to the database, running SQL queries and stored
procedures, data retrieval and pre-processing;
. coordinating individual documents programming between
outside vendors and internal development team;
. leading Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance
Testing (UAT) stages of development;
Used Fiserv UniFi Pro custom software for designing
document templates and individual documents hot linked to
the proprietary UniFi database. LoanSoft framework - a
sophisticated point-of-sale, origination, processing,
underwriting, and closing software - is used to create Web-
based and/or Client-Server user interfaces encompassing all
facets of the software functionality. Extensively used
VBScript, VB 6.0, and ADO for front-end interfaces and
middle-tier components. MS SQL Server is used as a data
