IT PROJECT EXPERIENCE : 2 Years 2 Months
1. A Testbed for Experiment on Geometric Data Exchange.
Translator Team, Autodesk, Novi, USA.
June 2010 - August 2010.
Purpose of this project was to build a testbed for Geometric data exchange.
Inventor server API were used to translate file formats. Inventor server
supports file translation for solid model using CAD kernel. The program
takes input as entity list from the 3D model on an active TK window. It
also takes the destination file as an input. SAT is created from the entity
list. The body from the specified sat file is collected. Then a new part
document is created from SAT file. The CAD model is saved to external file
formats. Project was implemented in C++ language and extensively uses
Inventor server API. During this project, I learnt about 3D solid modelling
and CAD data exchange.
2. Easy Route
Wayne State University, Department of Computer Science
Jan. 2010 - Nov 2010.
This project is about developing an application for Nexus One. During this
project I have developed software which can demonstrate following
capabilities. User can take picture from Nexus One and accident data. The
user can choose from the image listed in the box. Then click the send
button to upload the picture and data to server. Further this data is used
to find the easy route on Google Maps.
Programming Language : Java, Php, SQL
Tool : Android SDK, Maps SDK
3. Data Mining Wikipedia Data
Wayne state University, Department of Computer science
Research Assistant, Jan2009- Aug 2009.
In this project we propose an approach to study the link structure of the
Wikipedia and how did this structure evolve over time. The data mining
techniques is applied to understand how the Wikipedia has evolved past
years. The interesting pattern has been deduced. The rest of this project
is organized as follows; relevant data extraction, do the graph clustering
using Markov Clustering. Further the principal tree is generated. The
principal tree at different time stamp is generated.
Programming Language : C++
Tool : Pajek
4. Study of degree-regular triangulations of surfaces an polyhedral
structures of spheres, Department of Mathematics Indian Institute of
Science.
Senior Project Programmer Jan 2008 - Jan 2009.
Programming Language : MPI using C++ Machine : IBM Cluster
5. Lexicographic Enumeration of Triangulated Surfaces
Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Science, India.
Project Programmer Jan 2007- Dec 2007. (Master's Thesis)
We enumerate the triangulations in lexicographic order. Our algorithm finds
the smallest in this order among all which are isomorphic. This gives
isomorphism free triangulation, i.e., if K and L are isomorphic and K is
smaller than L in the lexicographic order then our algorithm finds K not L.
We then use our algorithm for different values of n = 4,5,6,7,8,9.
Programming Language : MPI using C++
Machine : IBM Cluster
6. Optimization of traffic signal timing at junction
Indian Institute of Science, Computer Science and Automation
Project Student Sept 2004- Feb 2005 ( (BS Thesis)
HOBBIES : Reading, listening music and playing Badminton
