1) Project Name: Bandwidth Recycling in IEEE 802.16 networks

Graduate Coursework: Database Organization

Role: Programmer

Platform/Technologies: Windows 7, DOT.NET SDK 4.0, SQL Server 2008.

Project Description: IEEE 802.16 standard was designed was designed to

support the bandwidth demanding applications with quality of service

(QoS). Bandwidth is reserved for each application to ensure the QoS. For

variable bit rate (VBR) applications however, it is difficult for the

subscriber station (SS) to predict the amount of incoming data. To ensure

the QoS guaranteed services, the SS may reserve more bandwidth than its

demand. As a result, the reserved bandwidth may not be fully utilized all

the time. A scheme, named Bandwidth Recycling, is proposed to recycle the

unused bandwidth without changing the existing bandwidth reservation. The

idea of the proposed scheme is to allow other SSs to utilize the unused

bandwidth when it is available.

Project Responsibilities:

. Developed the database schema

. Designed and implemented web pages

. Tested the application to check whether it meets the requirement

2) Project Name: Redirection Server

Graduate Coursework: Communication Networks

Role: Programmer

Platform/Technologies: Dot NET DOT.NET SDK 3.5, Microsoft Access 2007

Project Description: This project I have tried to solve the problem of

overload the server by using the Redirection server technique in which

the request to main server is handled by the Sub Server. This helps to be

handle more frequently and efficiently. The project uses the

multithreaded concepts too which handle the request or the load is

distributed according to the FCFS algorithm. This project uses the basic

client server architecture.

Project Responsibilities:

. Developed UI for the project
