Work term objective:
My present work term objective is to build on the experience I have gained and to
further my knowledge in other aspects of Chemistry and Bioanalytical chemistry.
Goal:
To give my best to my organization
To learn more about my subject and show positive results in my profession
Summary:
Excellence in handling HPLC system with method development and validation.
Analysis of finished product and raw material as per pharmacopeial and
customers specification.
Exposure and training on chromatographic instruments as FTIR, UV-visible
spectrometer, GC.
Experience on Dissolution, pre formulation and formulation studies.
Familarity with pharmacokinetic analysis using LC-MS and toxicity studies
using animals as a part of my masters course and also PhD project.
Strong ability to work in teams and collaborations. Have a wish to learn new
facts, ability to perform under stress, completing the work on time with
punctuality.
Experience in taking and giving seminars and training on the instruments
to the students and teachers.
Knowledge on the Internet, using Microsoft word, Excel and Powerpoint

Education:
University of Mumbai- Currently pursuing PhD in Analytical chemistry since
2008.
Establishment of bioassays for screening antihistamine and cardiovascular
drugs having natural excipients.
University of Mumbai- Masters in Bioanalytical sciences in the year (2005-2007).
University of Mumbai- Bachelors in Lifesciences in the year (2003-2005).
Professional experience:
Watson Pharma Ltd: Trainee officer in Analytical development lab
Experience on HPLC and training on other chromatographic instruments
Analysis of finished product and raw material as per pharmacopeial and
customers specification and submitting the final reports.
Routine Analysis of the drug and also wet analysis including LOD, Karl
fischer, Heavy metal analysis, sulphated ash content, polarimetry
Training on calibration of the instruments as per the standard operating
procedures.
Analysis of the new drugs as per the criteria.
Sekhsaria Chemicals Limited, Mumbai- Masters project training for 2 months
Perkin Elmer Technical Centre, Mumbai - Training in Chromatography and
Spectroscopy as Bachelors course.
Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Lab, Mumbai - Training giving demonstration on
clinical studies on healthy volunteers, LC-MS, gel electrophoresis, PCR,
Capillary electrophoresis, DNA fingerprinting.
Sushrusha hospital, Mumbai- Training in the pathology laboratory including
complete blood count tests, ESR, urine routine test, stool test, histopathology
and all the routine tests.
Responsibilities:
Being a Analytical Chemist I operated on diversified areas and projects related to
certain drugs and this gave me a wide industry exposure in various areas.
I also took the tasks of analyzing the product results given to me and recording
the report of the same. I underwent training in using techniques and equipments
in Analytical Development lab from senior chemists in the department
Apart from this I also assisted the senior chemists and chemists and learnt daily
small operations and tasks in laboratory.
Conclusion:
I feel I would bring a resourcefulness of years of experience in a wide range of
disciples. I have a progressive vocabulary, a pre-requiste for writing proposals,
reports. I have a good work ethic and the capability to work safely in a laboratory
environment.
I have come on L2 visa and I need of an H1 visa on request.
I am interested in working in pharmaceutical companies and also to learn
documentation in regulatory affairs. If I get to work in this environment, I would
surely make it a point to do my best sincerely .
