The Scope of the work for this engagement covers Data sources to be

analyzed, reports that needs to be designed & built and the data to be

migrated to load the historical data from Tycoelectronics, that need to be

considered for building the datawarehouse solution for Lineage Power .

The purpose involved capturing Customer, Vendor, Sales, Material, SAP Codes

& Purchasing information from various Data sources which were captured in

the form of ADR's.

ADR ( Acquired data requisition)-Handled 40 ADR feeds,

Have developed 25-30 feeds and Built mappings to extract the data

from fixed width FLAT FILES and perform appropriate Business Validations

and load the data into Target tables.

EDW: Pick the data from the Target tables, perform required RI validation

and load the data to appropriate Master tables.

Involved in building the Stored Procedure for Extracting the TIME DIMENSION

information.

Involved creating a UNIX script for handling Variable record length.

Dimensions/ADR/PDR:

This application's consists of a set of schedules and jobs for importing

data into the Oracle database, from the US mainframe.

The sources send the data in the form of flat files and then the schedule

calls the appropriate UNIX scripts which will use the SQL Loader to load

the data in the into Tyco electronics tables.

A DATA FEED has 3 phases basically load, validate and populate similar to a

ETL tool.

ROHS - Working as a overall Backend Analyst ( DA)

REACH- Designed and Developed a whole new database for REACH Schema and
