Project Title : Global Positioning System as applied for Missile

Tracking

Organization : Bharat Dynamics Limited (B.D.L)

Technology Used : C, Communication Systems.

This project is about guiding and tracking the missile position.

When released to the target and if it is deviated from the pre-defined path

it will create huge damage to the mankind and to the nature. To avoid from

such deviation from its pre-defined path, we use GPS (GLOBAL POSITIONING

SYSTEM) in the missile by which we can able to know the position of the

missile from the control stations which are located in four positions

around the world.

Scope of Project: As the technology is in progress these GPS systems can be

applicable in automobiles, mobiles, walkie-talkie etc. to overcome the

traffic problems, to navigate using mobile maps and so on. In today's world

this is fastest growing technology.

Extra Curricular Activities
