Processing:
. Process and package residential mortgage loans (FHA/VA, Conventional:
FNMA & FHLMC, purchase, refinance) under specific loan programs in
accordance with company policies and procedures.
. Register loans on the origination system and maintain system accuracy,
issue proper disclosures per regulatory compliance guidelines.
. Review files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
. Submit files for loan approval.
. Obtain and review documentation requested by the underwriter/investor,
and meet requirements for final loan approval.
. Verify that all underwriting conditions are cleared by the underwriter
and prepare file for submission to the Closing Department.
. Monitor loan closing documents and requirements by lender to assure
deadlines are met and loan closes per commitments to borrower, loan
officer, and company guidelines.
. Communicate with loan officer, buyer, seller, title, escrow, builder &
agents.
Mortgage Loan Origination:
. Responsible for the sale and promotion of residential home mortgages
and home equity lines of credit
. Solicit business for the corporation from outside sources and book of
business.
. Obtain and verify the proper documentation for the completion of a
residential loan application.
. Duties include; calculation of income through pay check stubs, tax
returns, analyzing the self employed borrower, review of credit
reports, and bank statements, recommending various products and
services beneficial to the customer.
. Conducted sales presentations, organized home buyer seminars and
trained sales staff.
. Submit files for loan approval
. Communicate with selling agent, listing agent, builder, escrow, title,
loan processor and underwriter.
. Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator NMLS# 314792
. Receive applications, quote rates and points and complete follow up
activities.
Underwriting:
. Underwrite residential mortgage loan applications within scope of
lending authority.
. Analyze and summarize the applicants' credit worthiness and asset
quality.
. Make recommendations for loans outside of lending authority.
. Interprets and communicates standards and guidelines to borrower.
. Ensures full compliance with the company Quality Control Policies and
Procedures.
Manager:
. Ability to manage sales team
. Responsible for the training and motivating of sales staff
. Counsel and disciplines sales force as necessary
. Develop relationship relationships with real estate professionals,
builders, and other business referral sources.
. Understands real estate appraisals, title reports, and various real
estate transactions
. Demonstrates leadership characteristics, organizational skills and
experience in an automated origination environment
