Recently elevated up to a Task Order Manager (TSS Manager)
Oversee and coordinate the project management and operational aspects of ongoing program and
scheduling activities to include base lining, status updates, milestones, forecasting, risk
identification and resource management for the Battle Command Training Centers (BCTS), which
includes CCTT, RVTT, RVS, VCCT and MCCT. Receive and review Statements of Work (SOW’s),
requirements, and funding requests, re write Suppliers Statement of Work (SSOW’s ) for
subcontract release, Plan, manage, and assist with the acquisition process in support of the Project
Management Office for BCTS. Assist with the life cycle management. Assist with managing
funding and obligation plans within Life Cycle contract effort, ensuring that funds are prudently
managed by the contractor. Assist with maintaining current budget requirements and executing
current budget in accordance with spending plan. Assist with the review and tracking of invoices
from contractors, and confer with Area Project Manager (APM) at PM Field Ops SETA regarding
administrative and funding modifications for task orders related to the BCTS as required. Prepare
presentation material and host internal and external customer reviews. Prepare contract
deliverables and other related documentation as required. Maintain and update schedules,
documentation, and metrics required for contract deliverables. Act as Technical Functional
Area/Technical Support Specialist liaison and attend meetings and reviews with PEO STRI as
required. Assume Technical Support Specialist (TSS) responsibilities as required due to TSS illness
or vacation. Execute lateral staff coordination and liaise externally within Warrior Training
Alliance (WTA) PMO. Assist with the development of Technical Evaluations/Sole Source
documentation. Assist with the development of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW’s) and
document and expedite their entry into CM Pro/WTA baseline. Create and maintain early warning
30 60 90 day reports for TSS. Track and coordinate Requests for Information (RFI’s) across the
TFA. Assist with the development of Project Management Review (PMR) presentation packages
and participate in review. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity,
quality, and internal/external client satisfaction, goals, and objectives. Assist with the
development, maintenance, distribution and control of program processes and procedures. Assist
finance department with importing project baseline into cost manager. Assist sites with validating
baseline data in P6 and/or MS Project according to contract requirements. Assist sites in
establishing project web site for P6 and/or MS Project report access and documentation. Conduct
individual training required by System Description Document training requirements. Participate in
program teamwork sessions with project site personnel and/or sub contractors to ensure the
consistent application and implementation of program level processes, procedures, and system
administration functions. Work with individual sites to rectify and correct all deficiencies where
issues, problems, and inconsistencies occur.
Also the action officer and Point of Contact between the government and subcontractors assigned
to this effort.
