. Overhauled the build process to reduced operator introduced delays and
errors. After the changes were made, a process that once took 30-45
minutes took less than 5 minutes.
. Facilitated the porting of the OpenVMS operating system to a new
hardware platform. The porting team was able to pull in the delivery
schedule by 3 months.
. Initiated a project to update the network-based software delivery
infrastructure. Six underpowered servers were replaced with a single,
triple-redundant, SAN-based, high performance server.
. Developed a DVD mastering process. Successfully mastering a DVD was
critical to the success of the port of the OpenVMS operating system to
the new hardware platform.
