New United Motors Manufacturing Inc. Fremont, CA. 1989-2010. NUMMI was a highly
competitive automobile manufacturer producing units with a .02 DPV.
I worked in 6 different groups in 2 different shifts and I’m highly knowledgeable of the assembly
process in a production line. I worked with a vast diversity of workers using motivation
techniques to boost morale and solve conflict at the lowest level.
Planned and coordinated workflow through a demanding manufacturing line supervised
approximately 25 production team members. Facilitated daily communication meetings and
insure team members follow standardized work, investigated accidents, enforce company
policies, issued progressive corrective discipline, and worked closely with Quality Control to
insure quality performance standards were met.
