SUMMARY
I have had the opportunity to develop and utilize my skills in construction
for the past 25 years. I began my experience in construction with North
Brothers in 1986 as a helper insulating piping and tanks for paper mills,
power plants, schools, hospitals, industrial and commercial facility's. I
advanced to Warehouse Manager/Shop Fabricator after several years and
proceeded to become Estimator/Project Manager with training provided by
North Brothers. In this position I was responsible for estimating projects
from blueprints and visual inspections for materials, equipment and labor
cost, clarify scope of work with architects and engineers, bid preparation
with follow up and negotiations of contracts. Company was bought out by
competitors and eventually closed.
In 1995 I took employment with Asbestos Control Services as
Estimator/Project Manager and performed all operational functions of
estimator/project manager for the insulation of boilers, tanks, duct,
pumps, domestic and chilled water piping, abatement of asbestos containing
materials, lead paint remediation at power plants, paper mills, chemical
plants, hospitals, schools, industrial and commercial facility's. I was
responsible for preparing submittal packages, invoicing, controlling labor
force and ordering materials and equipment, preparing job tracking spread
sheets, managing project from bid to final payment. Started new source of
revenue for company, Isolatek sprayed fire protection and fire stop
penetrations. Managed projects in GA., S.C., N.C. and TN doing Fire
protection projects. Owners retired and closed business.
Began employment with Environmental Management Services in 2001 as
Estimator/Project Manager for environmental and demolition projects.
Responsible for bid package, submittal package, job tracking, estimating
labor, materials, equipment and disposal cost, entering cost of projects to
P&L statements, invoicing customer on percentage of completed work,
contacting contractors for upcoming projects. Had dispute with owner and we
decided to part ways.
In 2007 took employment with MB Systems as field superintendent at Frt.
Stewart AFB erecting pre-engineered metal buildings. My duties were daily
project reports, quality control, safety coordinator, receiving and coding
materials, change orders, additional work, review drawings, coordinating
with architects and engineers on discrepancy's, projecting schedules with
general contractor. Project lasted 8 months.
Currently employed with Abdella Services Inc. as estimator/field supervisor
providing complete building services. Responsible for bid package,
submittal package, labor force, ensure established specs and work
requirements have been meet. Actual hands on working on site as working
supervisor installing walls, flooring, heating/cooling systems, plumbing
and restaurant equipment. Projects completed; Captain D's in Goose Creek,
Sanno Grill Japanese Restaurant in Goose Creek, concrete equipment pads,
ceramic tile flooring at Consolidated Medical Center Naval Weapons Station.
Presently working on addition/ renovation of beach house at Isle of Palms.

For the past 20 years I have been responsible for estimates, bid packages,
submittal packages, project management, field superintendent, quality
control, safety, invoicing, scheduling. I have worked with architects,
engineers, contractors and owners to ensure established specs and work
requirements have been met and processing correct invoices. I am familiar
with government contracts and work requirements.
