AT&T Inc. 1977-2011

AT&T, formerly known as SBC, provides fixed telephony, broadband, and

subscription television services.

Director, Financial Analysis, Dallas, Tx, 2008-2011

Established a financial-system project management team to span and

facilitate operations of newly acquired Cingular and BellSouth. Developed

and deployed such common processes as communication tools for wireless and

wire-line stakeholders to gather and develop business requirements;

translated into system requirements and participated in documentation.

Supported, developed, and signed-off on a $250 million business case to

centralize client requests into IT; recommended this inter-departmental

alliance, which pursued common delivery applications.

Developed a project prioritization methodology and administered a $30

million annual project budget in accordance with business and client

priorities.

Co-authored a more than $10 million business case to integrate and

modernize corporate profitability systems; moved multiple systems to a

common allocation methodology, platform, and language.

Directed project to align and integrate Cingular, BellSouth, and AT&T's

system of accounts.

Director, Wholesale Finance, SBC, Dallas, Tx, 2002-2008

Led an 8-member, geographically diverse, team in providing financial

support and guidance to the Wholesale arm, which captured more than $10

billion in annual revenue. Ensured proper monthly bookings. Developed

targets and budgets commensurate with corporate direction and provided

results and direction to meet targets. Ensured reserves exceeding $200

million were maintained for bad debt and inter-company traffic

compensation.

Participated in managing through the MCI / WorldCom bankruptcy.

Improved bottom line through reducing more than $200 million in reserves by

analyzing and recommending policy changes to exposure calculation

methodology.

Associate Director, Cingular, Richardson, Tx, 1999-2001

Established a billing project management group to move to common processes

across Cingular and SBC. Supervised eight employees and contractors, in

multiple locations, providing bill audit support during multiple

conversions of new wireless properties to the Telegence billing system. Led

activities to benchmark billing systems; provided benchmarking readout to

the CIO.

Led a team of more than 30 billing project managers. Gathered internal

Represented SBC on an inter-company billing benchmarking project and
