Oversaw the anatomic pathology department, which included cytology, histology,
surgical/autopsy pathology, and transcription with over 40 employees. The

annual reviews, disciplinary action, quality assurance, monitoring daily work flow
to ensure that the specimens were processed and distributed to the Pathologists in a
timely fashion, daily monitoring of the slides distributed to the Pathologists to
maintain a high staining quality, organized the weekly anatomic pathology meeting,
coordinated with both the Pathology Group and Laboratory Manager to merge two
hospital laboratories into one site (October 2006), worked to reacquire and interpret
previously outsourced cytology specimens and procure the cytology staff to process
these specimens at our site, and assisted in planning the design for the hospitals new
anatomic pathology laboratory (moved into January 2009).
