Present
Interages creates a more age-integrated community by promoting improved
communication, understanding, and quality of life for older adults and
youth. Interages serves the community by championing mutually beneficial
volunteer opportunities for older adults and youth to interact and learn
from one another while fostering respect between generations and
appreciation of diversity.

Manages the administrative functions of the office for staff and

DC Public School - M.C. Terrell/McGogney Elementary School
Served as a bi-lingual teacher (Spanish/English) for the fall semester
of 2010; I worked with children from kindergarten to third-grade on
learning the basics of the Spanish language. I developed lesson plans
and coordinated class schedules amongst the various age groups.

Served a general volunteer in the soup kitchen on a monthly basis and
assisted the head chef on occasion with final preparations of meals for
guests.
