Description:
RTI International Metals is a leading U.S. producer of titanium products
and fabricated metal components for the global market. This application
provides users to perform confirmations of Production orders at operation
level through MII and record the failed and good confirmations. All the
Production orders which are to be confirmed are pulled from R/3 system
through BLS transactions the data is brought into MII system and stored
in Oracle database tables and then displayed on front-end. The user is
allowed to select multiple Production orders through check boxes for
approval but before approval user can edit the Production order info.
These orders are sent to R/3 system through BLS transaction then the
message is returned back from SAP to determine whether the confirmation
was successful or not. The good and bad orders are stored in different
tables for analysis percentage of failures

The project was to test the Inventory management module which was a online
tool that helps maintain inventory. It automatically ensures that units are
available and that GPS locations of inventory (vehicle or patient) are
tracked by the MicroTRAK GPS units. The improved inventory tracking of
availability in the warehouse or use in deployed products is beneficial in
making more informed decisions.
