IT Technical Field Engineer, Delta Technology, Atlanta, GA,

Responsible for technical support operations in high-volume, 24x7 airport

environment to include coordination of technical issues involving airport

network, hardware, and operating systems (VAX/VMS, Windows NT/2003 Server,

Windows XP/9x, and LINUX).

Oversee network connectivity, implementation, integration, and

troubleshooting for servers, routers, remote access, storage devices,

printers, and scanners for Delta Air Lines flight gates and remote

locations as needed.

Assume responsibility as system administrator for an eight-node VMS cluster

which

supported Delta's mail sortation and baggage handling systems.

Maintain daily troubleshooting of flight gate equipment and training users

on functionality

of usage of equipment, such as boarding pass printers, passport readers,

and kiosks

Updated, repaired and maintained ground and flight information displays

(GIDS/FIDS) to ensure accurate customer information.

Consult with senior management on future and current technology issues

involving connectivity for LAN, Wans, and Internet applications
