Jones and Brooks

I have worked for Jones and Brooks for 30 years as a Pre Press Printing

Operator. The company based in Rochdale Lancashire, is the biggest producer

of healthcare forms in the UK, it has a 100 year tradition of producing

quality printing to all the NHS Hospital's around the United Kingdom.

Pre Press Printing Operator

1980 - 2010

. All aspects of Pre Press Print: paste up, digital camera operating, flexo

platemaking and litho plate making.

. Experience of making polyester plates from Apple Mac to PC and all

general aspects of computer to plate.

. Running a two colour Reel Fed Flexo printing press and Ricoh Digital

Printing M/C

. Ability to "lay" up on computer to plate.

. Experience in using a range of different tools and equipment associated

with Pre Press Printing.

. All round use of Windows PC operations ( Office, Word etc..)

. Worked in the Quickprint shop within the company dealing with customer

requirements and advising clients on all aspects of there required jobs

from start to finish.
