BIT QA Annuity support provides Quality assurance services for the Annuity
Applications owned by MetLife. The project involves integration testing of
major and minor enhancements and also production discrepancies. It also
provides functionality testing for the new applications developed by
MetLife. Changing business needs requires changes in the existing system of
MetLife and/or launch of new applications and my project caters to testing
of such changes to the system. The project involves understanding the
business requirements, developing test strategy based on the requirements.
Summary:
To perform the role of a Software Engineer for the MetLife
Annuity system. The project was handling discrepancies related
to DTCC Transmission files.

Client 2: AEGON, USA
AEGON DMS (AEGON Direct Marketing Services, Inc.) is the premier direct
marketer of life and supplemental health insurance products. It is a
division of AEGON Americas. AEGON Americas is a member of the AEGON Group
which has its HQ in Netherlands. The objective of the project is to convert
the ACE system to the AIG system that involves development of new methods
of insurance and refund calculation, generating new reports that are very
much different from the existing ACE system. The project involves
understanding the business requirements, developing the detailed design and
the high-level design, pseudo code, coding and Testing based on the
requirements and the implementation support from offshore.
