We are a group of individuals that meet in The Geek Easy (located in A Comic Shop) once a month to discuss comic books and craft beer. The goal is to open people up to both the comic books that they have never read, and to the craft beer that they have never drank. Beer tasting and trading are encouraged. Inbev/Anheuser-Busch and Miller-Coors are discouraged.
As a committee member, it is my duty to assist in promotion, social media blasts, developing ideas for future events including off-site locations in the Orlando area, and learning new brewery, beer, and product knowledge to communicate to the group, as well as developing better knowledge in new comic books, graphic novels, popular fandoms, etc.
As the Treasurer, it is my duty to inventory any cash and supply donations made to the group, so that we may be able to continuously improve our events using what our allowed donation inventory consists of.
