independent of each other.

I was part of a team of operators that created a daily 411 GTE database for
Southern California. GTE customer database was read from magnetic tape and
applied to removable storage. The databases were created on PDP 11/70's
and RPO6 packs. I was also responsible for system backups on Vax and
Tandom mainframe computers.
