Work Experience
2/10/10 - Present
California Steel Services
Position: Shipping and Inventory Management / Database Support
Project 2: Data cleansing for Inventory Management in Sage MAS 200 (ERP)
software package.
-Updating company inventory for out of state branches and stock in main
warehouses. Listing includes Value Object items in MAS 200 as well as BOM
lines for projects.
-Data is being updated to clarify production costs and BOM lines to ensure
better cost and analysis. With the automation of inventory management and
shipping data entry the invoicing and billing service is an easier process.
Project 1: Data mining and Data Entry in SAGE 2010 ACT database.
-Cleaned data and filtered statistical info on steel materials and bom
lines for clientele. Established and implemented a working code system for
customer info and products. (COMPLETE)
4/21/2008 - 12/31/2008 PROSTEP
Inc.
Position: Junior Consultant
Project 1: A custom ProSTEP AG Open PDM Client API as well as a custom
ProSTEP AG Conflict Management API, allowing cost engineers to cross
analyze parts in a Data Warehouse and Teamcenter Engineering Environment.
Customized data had special attributes pended to TC meta-data fields and
the data was transferred from TCE to the DW (Oracle 9i database).
-OpenPDM Teamcenter engineering 10.0 Data warehouse conflict management
plugin: Took functional specification design implemented functionality for
monitoring BOM line conflicts.
.Developed and designed API for plugin as well as modify OpenPDM Client
extensions and outlook.
-Worked with client and project manager to create custom plugins for API
and update the project definition. Created UML diagrams for definitions of
project pieces (use case/data flow).
-Installed OpenPDM Client and Deployed ProSTEP's customized LUNT build
packages via IBM Websphere Application Server 6. All Development packages
were on a source and version control (CVS).
-Prepared the documentation for Cost Engineers and Client Administration
engineers.
06/01/2006 - 10/31/2007 UCR Dept.
Computer Science & Engineering
Position: Student Researcher
Project ROCCC (Riverside Optimizing Compiler For Configurable Computing):
ROCCC is a C to hardware compilation project whose objective is the FPGA-
based acceleration of frequently executed code segments (loop nests).
-Translated C code of MiBench Benchmarks Suite to VHDL down-loadable code
onto an FPGA, using Riverside Optimized Compiler for Configurable Computing
Code Evaluator.
-Modified C code to retain MiBench functionalities of original benchmarks
so VHDL code could perform same function. Transitioned from UNIX and
Windows environments running and modifying shell scripts to run benchmarks
and Xilinx FPGA board downloads.
