payroll systems, including those in the United Kingdom, Canada and the
U.S., including 3K vouchers monthly, 50 states quarterly and yearly tax
filings, quarterly and yearly filings for 6 countries and 3K+ year-end W2's
and T4's. Possessed comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and filing
requirements for the United Kingdom and Canada.
Served as the main point-of-contact for the IRS and Revenue Canada in
negotiating and resolving all financial issues. Administrated the
generation of all month-end financial reports. Managed the Canadian payroll
process, communicating daily with Canadian authorities and personnel on
issues such as taxes and benefits. Maintained the offshore taxation
process. Initiated policies and procedures in collaboration with the United
Kingdom and Touch Ross while leading the review process for the receipt
and verification of payroll information distributed to external accounting
firms in order to determine offshore employee tax liability. Drove the
management and controls for the G/I, A/P, A/R and voucher examination
process. Owned responsibility for the treasury function, month-end process,
financial reporting and systems back up, including budget preparation and
