Note:
Knowing that the Telecommunication Industry and the IT Industry are rapidly
becoming one single industry, I decided to broad my knowledge and
experience in the IT Industry.
I already took all my classes to obtain my CISCO CCNA certification.
Currently, I am scheduled to take my final exam. I am familiar with all
computer network components (hubs, bridges, switches, routes and gateways).
I can configure and install each one of them within a LAN or WAN or PAN. I
am familiar with all protocols and applications used in the OSI and TCP/IP
models such as Ethernet, data link, MAC address, NIC, TCP, UDP, SPX, IP,
ICMP, ARP, RARP, PPP, FR, SMTP, FTP, TELNET, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
and SNDCP/GTP which is the GSM/GPRS layer 3 protocol that interface with
the IP protocol. I know how the protocols encapsulate, fragment, route and
reassemble the frame in the receiving or destination end. I have knowledge
(not expert yet) on applications over IP such as VoIP and IPTV. I know how
to assign or distribute IP address within a network using subnet masks. I
am familiar with router access list and privileges. Completed CISCO CCNP
course. Due to take test.
