Facilities Manager: Works with department directors, administrative

assistants, and chief engineers, to ensure that all 34 academic and housing

buildings needs are met.

Supervises, acts as technical expert, and establishes and implements objectives

for maintenance personnel to ensure productivity.

Works with Vice President of Operations, Departmental Directors, Managers,

Administrative Assistants and others (contractors, vendors) to ensure that the

Academy Academic Facilities are maintained.

Identifies maintenance needs and prioritizes same, in consultation with Vice

President of Operations.

Makes recommendations to Vice President of Operations in regard to outsourcing

specific jobs.

Develops and implements a preventive maintenance program for routine maintenance.

Orders materials and supplies as required for housing maintenance tasks.

Inventories material and supplies for academic maintenance.

Supervises inventory control of classroom equipage items prior to semester start

up.

Ensures that maintenance personnel and others have necessary supplies to complete

assigned tasks.

Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed in regards to the Academy's

Accident / Injury Prevention Program.

Conducts formal safety training and work procedures, ensures documentation of

training is filed for review.

Ensures that the locks out tag out procedures are followed in regards to

electrical maintenance.

Ensure that respiratory program procedures are followed.

Establish emergency procedures for after hour's facilities needs.

Manages Academic Maintenance Supervisor and maintenance staff.

Works with Academic Maintenance Supervisor and staff to insure productivity.

Tracks labor and materials costs for management review.

Assists in the preparation of Annual Budget review for Academic Faculties.

Reviews and tracks Monthly Operating statements to ensure budgetary amounts are

not exceeded.

Trains Housing Managers in the Self Help Maintenance Program.

Communicates with the Business Operations Help desk personnel in regards to Vendor

calling and service scheduling needs i.e.; Fire sprinkler, Fire alarm, Fire

extinguishers, Boiler and furnace, elevator, Cable / Dish TV, Dish Washer,

Extermination service, Janitorial.

Updates and Records Maintenance actions completed / deferred or in progress

through Remedy Software maintenance Program.

Conducts hiring interviews as required based on personnel needs, makes

recommendation to Vice President of Operations.

Northern California Maintenance/Construction Supervisor: Started up maintenance

crew in northern California to provide maintenance and repair service for banks

and dental offices

Project Manager for building Cathay Bank in Milpitas-start to finish

Provide formal bids solicitation for special construction projects.

projects.

doing the following:

. Responsible for the purchasing of the parts and equipment shipped to

all the stores.

. Responsible for maintaining the costs to all shipments made to the

stores and vendors, while building a good, solid business relationship

with the vendors.

. Inventory Control: Inventory, document, move, pack, store, and ship

all parts to their final destination; assist with order entry and

returns are received into inventory in a timely manner; assist with

tracking and proof of delivery; provide external, as well as internal
