NICET Level I was earned in 2006.
As an Electronic Security Technician I am most familiar with the Ademco series including the Vista 10,
15 and 20 panels. I have also successfully installed and programmed panels from the Concord and Gemini
series. I have experience testing and troubleshooting commercial fire and smoke alarm systems. I have
entry level experience installing RFID and Access Control systems. I enjoy installing and troubleshooting
Video Surveillance systems. I also have experience installing and programming Sony DVR’s. Well
versed with installing multi-zone home entertainment systems including HD televisions, tuners, receivers,
HD cable boxes and Surround Sound. I have limited experience installing Direct TV systems including
using the proper tool for aiming the dish to the correct elevation and range angle for proper reception.
I have formal sales training and have been successful in closing various sales in the field including
monitored security system contracts.

My responsibilities included teaching at the 6- 12 grades levels. Regularly generated and
implemented lesson plans, assignments and tests. Calculated grades and conducted regular office hours
for student tutoring and parent conferences. Volunteered on a regular basis to tutor students after school
in various subjects.
07/1997 – 05/2004 United States Navy and Navy Ready Reserves
Fire Controlmen (Active), Construction Mechanic Petty Officer 3 rd Class (Reserves)
During active duty I was responsible for the operation and repair of ship board electronic weapon
systems used for electronic and ballistic warfare. A secret security clearance was required.
As a member of the US Navy Ready Reserve duty I served as a heavy and light mechanic. I also
volunteered and performed Color and Honor Guard duties.
Deployed by the US Navy Reserves in 2002. Honorable Discharged in 2004.
