Senior Supervisor Engineer
Responsible for all aspects of capital projects execution
including the design, construction, cost estimation, cost
analysis and material requisitions. In charge of annual projects
from $5M to $360M and multi annual projects up to $4 MM.
Manage every aspect of the construction of electrical aerial and
underground lines at secondary, primary and 38 kV transmission
voltage.
Coordinate with other agencies the permits related with the
construction of power lines such as: right of way, excavation
permits and construction permits.
Program, organize, distribute and assign construction works to
several brigades and supervisors performing different projects in
remote locations (up to 60 employees).
Ensure that the employees comply with OSHA safety standards and
PREPA internal policies such as: job briefings, monthly safety
reunions, use of personal protection equipment.
Cover Construction Superintendent duties when required. Perform
temporary and regular employee evaluations, recommends vacation
programs, certify payroll for direct reports.

Metering Engineer
Supervise the conservation, repair, calibration, installation and
tests performed to demand meters, metering equipments and
transformers. Keep up-to-date files of tests and maintenance
done to primary and secondary meters and accounts.
Supervise and perform tests of primary and secondary metering
equipments, and keep meters and transformers stock up to date.
In charge of performing reactive power factor tests to determine
power factor.
Advice contractors, engineers and designers in matters related to
the appropriate metering equipments they should use.
Supervise a small group of technical personnel who perform
scheduled and emergency maintenance of metering equipment in
primary and secondary accounts.

Responsible for the inspection of construction (activities,
materials and equipment) of 38kV transmission and
aerial/underground distribution systems.
Interpret transmission and distribution plans and drawings,
aerial and underground. Inspect excavations for cables,
transformer, sectionalizers, poles, pullboxes and other
equipments. Verify that every activity is conducted in accordance
with PREPA's construction requirements and standards.
Perform various tests such as: grounding, continuity, insulation,
and fault discovery in primary and secondary lines. Prepare all
required reports about deficiencies, dangerous situations and
property damage related to the construction of electrical
facilities.
Meet with clients, contractors, public and private personnel in
relation to electrical project matters.

In charge of developing a refrigeration system alarm protection
manual, utilities equipment critical operation conditions manual.
Inspection of instrumentation equipment in Utilities and
Cogeneration plants to ensure its appropriate calibration and
operation.
Troubleshoot operational problem in Utilities and Cogeneration
plant. Supervise teams during plant maintenance periods.
Verify and maintain chemical treatment reports, alarms reports,
