owned and operated airports. Responsibilities include:

• Establishing a corporate-wide GIS system, including system design, data

models development and data conversion.

• Develop and implement GIS standards pertaining to data production,

management, retrieval and quality control.

• Develop and implement GIS and CAD standards as i t relates to data

G IS/CAD data in tegration, maintenance and back-up.

• Lead and manage GIS applications development efforts –prepare

As the lead GIS person within the Department of Comprehensive Planning, I was

responsible for the overall GIS, automation and mapping activities in the

Comprehensive Planning Department. Responsibilities included: local government

• Manage and lead the zoning map automation project (database design,

conversion, QA/QC and maintenance).

• Used GIS to conduct analytical studies, prepare reports and custom maps to

support the various divisions in the department, including: advance planning,

n uclear waste, environmental planning and water resources, air quality and

t ransportation planning.

• Act as the liaison between the Planning Department and the Information

Systems Department, and other County Departments regarding overall

p rocess improvement and automation, including document

management/imaging system.

• Coordinate the department process improvement and automation utilizing GIS

and project t racking applications.

• Conduct t raining for planning staff on using newly developed GIS applications

and automation tools.

• Oversee GIS software/hardware requirements, implementation and staff

t raining.
