Supervise and operate the company's ISO 9001:2008 quality management system

including but not limited to:

Oversee and perform test functions of bulk material for quality approval

and production release per internal test specifications. Testing includes:

viscosity, electrical conductivity, electrical resistivity, lap shear

strength, percent solids, hardness, cure response, flow rate, gel time,

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis, Differential

Scanning Calorimetry (DSC/glass transition) analysis, and Thermogravimetric

Analysis (TGA).

Oversee and perform test functions of packaged goods for quality approval

and shipping release per internal test specifications and packaging

procedures. Testing includes confirming proper mix ratio via accurate cure

response, gel time and flow rate, and confirming accurate product

description identification, lot number and shelf life information on

finished goods labels.

Oversee and perform inspections according to internal procedures as well as

established sampling plans (MIL-STD-105 and ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-1993).

Inspections include receiving, first article, thickness, dimensional, in-

process, 100 percent visual, and last piece. Additional inspections include

in-process adhesion and release tests, conductivity verifications, optical

comparator measurements and microscope inspections.

Review purchase orders, internal work travelers and final shipping

paperwork for accuracy as part of contract review and quality assurance.

Review includes correct part, purchase order and lot numbers, revision

level, part description, quantity, packaging, storage, shipping and

documentation requirements, and manufacturing, packaging and shelf life

dates. Internal labels for bulk containers and finished packaged product

are also reviewed for accurate lot numbers, product description and

manufacturing, packaging and shelf life dates.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Reviewing and signing final shipping paperwork, including packing

slips, test reports and certificates of conformance

2. Issuing and releasing test reports, material data safety sheets,

technical data sheets, internal drawings and other documentation

required for shipments

3. Dispositioning nonconforming product as material review board director

4. Resolving customer complaints and returns

5. Managing internal audit system and conducting internal audits

6. Serving as liaison for third-party auditors

7. Issuing, implementing and closing corrective/preventive actions

8. Approving customer/internal drawings and specifications in conjunction

with top management,

including creation of internal test specifications based on prior test

data

9. Managing documentation system including establishing/writing,

implementing, maintaining and

revising quality procedures, work instructions, and quality forms

10. Maintaining electronic master list of all quality procedures

11. Managing calibration system and performing calibrations as needed

12. Managing storage and tracking of bulk (test) and finished goods retains

13. Assuring proper temperature of stored materials

14. Serving as a member of the Safety Committee

15. Assisting the Purchasing Department with vendor-related issues, vendor

evaluations and

approvals

16. Assisting the Research and Development Department with quality

requirements for

17. developmental products and products entering the commercialization

stage

18. Compiling Statistical Process Control (SPC) data

19. Tracking customer satisfaction data

20. Conducting ISO, internal auditor and safety training and training to

operating procedures

21. Conducting quality management review meetings

22. Assisting top management with tracking solvent emissions recovery data

23. Assisting top management with government contract registration

24. Assisting top management with medical equipment certification of

products
