MAXIMUS provides IT program management and operations services to state and

local governments, as well as the federal government.

As a Business Analyst at MAXIMUS, worked on implementing several Change

Action Requests (CARs) and Gap Analyses for IT projects.

Major IT projects:

> CA State's Healthy Family Program (HFP) Project

Implemented several enhancements to the HFP website, including

developing a web-based user interface on the HFP website, including

HFP enrollee forms and applications in various languages, enabling

server-side processing and routing of each order to HF Mail Operations

team.

> Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM) Program Project (www.aim.ca.gov)

Implemented several enhancements to both English and Spanish versions

of AIM program website, including adding new tabs to the website

containing all downloadable items (Forms, Letter, Employer Statement

and Affidavit of Income) for users, reorganizing and adding new

content to AIM website.

> Federal Income Guidelines (FIG) 2009 Project

Implemented changes needed to the Enrollment Entities & Certified

Application Assistants (EE & CAA) tab of HFP & AIM and websites to

accommodate new FIGs for year 2009. Modifications included, updating

FIG tables (in MAXe2 and Health-e-App) in the Production System,

updating content of CAA web-based training site, and VIPP development

for the errata sheets for the HFP and AIM handbooks.

> Online Eligibility Verification System (OEVS) Project

Coordinated Analysis, Design, Testing and Implementation tasks for

development of new OEVS intranet website. This website was made for

external partnership entities (such as Health, Dental and Vision

Plans) contracted by Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board (MRMIB) to

support Health Families (HFP) and Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM)

program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

> Gathered business requirements and created Business Requirement

Documents (BRD's) for all CARs (Change Action Requirements) assigned

> Analyzed and translated the business requirement into System

Requirements Specification (SRS) using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Visio

> Created Gap Analysis for the management team and the developers to

better understand the current state and desired future state

> Developed AS IS and TO BE diagram for the projects using MS Visio

24X7 Real Estate Exchange project:

Responsible for performing Business Analysis & software design/development

functions for OIT's 24X7 Real Estate Exchange project. This project

entailed development of a real estate website that would mainly allow

foreclosure investors communicate and transact with the foreclosure

sellers. Involved in all the stages of the project: Analysis, Design,

Development, Testing and Implementation.

provides medical, small group, short term and student health insurance

products. Under the supervision of Senior Business Analyst, performed

detailed Business Analysis for this project. This project entailed

developing a portal solution that helped Assurant agents obtain accurate

quotes and process applications more quickly.

Online Learning, Testing, Evaluation and Reporting (OLTER) project:

The scope of this project was to develop Online Learning, Testing,

Evaluation and Reporting (OLTER) system for VMT's client, Aptech Computer

Education, Ltd. OLTER was a useful tool for Aptech's students and

professors, as it enabled them to participate in online classes and also

provided online testing capability.
