Administrator (Solaris, LINUX, HP-UX, and IRIX) will contribute and allow

HIGHLIGHTS:

. Building/configuration of kickstart/jumpstart/ignite servers to

facilitate building client machines

. Hardening of *NIX servers and clients against outside attacks (ssh,

. Built and configured Amanda to utilized autoloaders for backing up

*NIX and PC clients on network(s) (using combination of ntbackup and

samba)

. Built/configured/maintained NAS (1TB), using 10 tape autoloader to

facilitate backups using Amanda

. Administration of AFS servers, for maintenance of user dataspace and

accounts.

. Administration of Kerberos for user authentication and tying into

Active Directory for PC accounts (one account login)

. Make hardware/software purchase recommendations to Dept. heads as

needed (3 yr. hardware life-cycle for budget planning)

. Rebuilt kickstart and jumpstart infrastructures

. Securing/hardening of the HP-UX Operating Systems.

. Building Ignite server and creating custom clients in the HP-UX

. Build jumpstart server for Solaris 9/10 client imaging

. Use Solaris Disk Suites in jumpstart build to mirror system disk as

part of DRP.

. Make infrastructure/architecture recommendation to site Enterprise

System Architect

. Implement system security on servers, test and development boxes as

recommended in STIGS.

Sr. UNIX Systems Administrator: Ajilon Consulting (Jan. 2007 -July 2007)

. Maintain ignite/jumpstart servers/clients in testlab. Update both

ignite and FLAR images with patches as well installation/management

perl scripts used by client sites to built machines.

. Developed method of splitting/rejoining FLAR images to support FTP

(2gb limit) transfers to sites

. Disable R-commands/telnet and replace with ssh/sshd for security. Also

built private/public RSA keys to allow Trusted host to access clients

as root without requiring passwords on secure networks.
