Assisted Blue Cross Blue Shield to develop an offer to acquire a large
managed care business. Assessed the impact of alternate combination

General Motors Co., Sr. Project Engineer - Body Structures, Flint, MI
1988-1995
Responsible for design and development of major underbody structural
assemblies.
Led a cross-functional team to design and produce the underbody structural
foundation for two car lines. Major department interfaces included assembly
plants, fabrication facilities, purchasing, financial planning, die
engineering, and product engineering.
Served as GM's primary representative in Japan to authorize the $4.5
million purchase of major die sets.
Identified design opportunities resulting in die cost savings of $2.5
million. Designed a unique structural joint configuration that reduced
costs, sped assembly, and improved dimensional quality.
