RST is a web based application used by CNA Underwriters in deciding whether to continue to provide the insurance to corporate

customers or not. It will be decided at the time of renewal based on several components. Corporate customer will have an account and

they may purchase insurances for several LOBs like Auto, Property, Crime, General Liability, Workers Comp etc. Each LOB has factor

and weight which are used for deciding the renewal. These factors and weights are calculated according to business requirements from

the solutions team. Each LOB’s weighted factor will be used for Financial Indicator, U/W Indicator etc. All these indicators will be

shown in the account summary page. Based on these indicator ratings, insurance renewal can be decided with appropriate premiums so

that customers and CNA can benefit from the accurate ratings from the RST.

Allstate Alliance project is an Allstate web based tool used for getting an auto or property (home, condo and renters) insurance quick

quote or easy quote. This tool can be used for converting Quote into New Business, bind a transaction, setup payment by the method of

credit card, check or cash, endorsing a policy, view a policy. Customers from three kinds of channels that are Exclusive Agent, CIC and

NSC, access the application. It has four sections Household, Vehicle/Dwelling, Coverage and Bind/Summary. This application runs on

Web Sphere application server which is hosted on IBM iSeries Server (AS/400) and interacts with other Allstate legacy systems such as

HRM, IRMS, URS and IPS using service oriented tools such as MQ Series, Tibco or Web Services.

Wells Fargo – Online Applications (WFOA) is a web-based application, which is developed using Wells Fargo’s APP2K framework. This

successful submission of applications, customer info will be sent to the backend SOR system in the form of XML DOM tree. And,
