REDUCTION, WROTE SOP’S AND WORK INSTRUCTIONS, ESTABLISHED CYCLE COUNT PROGRAM

WHICH RESULTED IN AN INCREASE FROM 30% ACCURACY TO 90% ACCURACY IN 10 MONTHS.

TRAINED PERSONNEL IN USING SAP MRP SYSTEM. SET UP BOM’S FOR MANUFACTURED ITEMS

AND CORRECTED EXISTING BOM’S THAT WERE INCORRECT.

Responsible for Supply Chain for a $23 million valve manufacturer with over $15 million in

annual purchases. Established VMI program that resulted in $45,000 reduction in inventory to

date, kanban and stocking programs that have netted another $75,000 reduction in inventory or a

total increase of 1.2 turns to date. Working with international sources – China, Korea, Malaysia,

and IndiaMade monthly visits to suppliers to shore up Supply Chain issues – both domestic and

international. Working with Oracle system – set up MRP planning and forecast. Supervised 2

Buyers and one clerical person. Reduced costs through programs established by 2.5% across the

board – net annual savings of $350,000. Made Power Point presentations and attend corporate

meetings.
