Benchmark Electronics, July 2006 to March 2010
. I developed test cases to automate testing of high-end Sun
servers using PERL, Unix Shell, Expect, XML and Awk scripts
in a web based UNIX and Windows/Linux test environments. This
included HW/SW QA verification along with an OS install using
DHCP TCP/IP networks. One of my projects cut test time from
34 minutes to 28 seconds using test scripts written in AutoIT
and VBS to automate video SAN server product testing and
configuration using Windows WMI and API calls under Microsoft
Windows XP. My scripts verified installation of HW/SW as well
as QA of configurations using Gigabit networking.
. I developed a method to upgrade obsolete product to acceptable
production standards, saving Benchmark Electronics over
$400K.
. I was responsible for maintaining test result data collection
for failure trend identification and customer feedback.
Assisted in gaining AS9100 site certification.
. I used Rational Clear DDTS, CVS and Subversion for software
release control.
. I have experience remotely controlling electronic devices and
systems using network port controls as well as serial ports
