detail oriented user interfaces on paper and in photoshop, as well as a web developer hand coding

HTML, CSS and jQuery to create stunning interactive websites. I have also worked as a creative

consultant helping clients find simple solutions to complex everyday problems, as well as revamp the

entire workflow process of one of the largest Recreational Sports Marketing programs at Virginia’s

largest university.

Marketing Assistant, Virginia Commonwealth University Richmond, VA 05/12-12/12

I was initially hired as a videographer for VCU Recreational Sports, however as I started working, the

need to fix broken system became clear. Two weeks into the marketing assistant position, I was

tapped on to help streamline and optimize the workflow for the Recreational Sports department. My

work included analyzing existing workflows, softwares, and collaborations and optimizing them. I

introduced a new model for working on projects which included making use of popular softwares

such as Basecamp and complimentary web apps such as Workstack.me.

Creative/Technology Director, Muslims for Life Campaign Silver Spring, MD 06/11-Present

Muslims for Life is a annual blood drive started in September of 2011 to honor the victims of the

terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001. As the creative/technology director of the campaign, I was the

architect of the online infrastructure of the campaign and managing any and all promotional material

for the campaign. I was the sole architect of the data collecting system and the grassroots

empowerment workflow of the campaign.

Marketing/IT Director, Safe Driving Academy, Inc. Herndon, VA 12/11-Present

As the marketing and IT director, my responsibilities include managing the online infrastructure of the

business, including the maintenance of the website, accounting systems, and payment gateways. I

also manage interactions with customers in regards to any online services. I have also carried out

multiple marketing campaigns for the company and have in tern increased business. I am responsible

for the design and development of the companies entire online presence. Most customers are

closed from online efforts, and as a result the company has expanded from 2 employees to over 6.

Lead Designer, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Silver Spring, MD 03/07-Present

My responsibilities as lead designer primarily consist of designing new pages for the official website

of the international community. The most important aspect is envisioning, planing, and designing

new custom solutions, which include custom CMS, mobile apps, web applications, and user outreach

applications.
