Capital Improvements Manager, City of Folsom, Folsom, CA

(8/96 ~ Present)

Responsible for the management of the capital improvement program for the

Redevelopment and Housing Department. Duties include the preparation of

the capital improvement program for the Redevelopment Agency, management

of capital improvement projects through the design and construction

phases, securing state and federal funding for projects including

preparing grant applications, and ensuring compliance with state and

federal regulations. Also, perform other general management duties

including preparation of department budget. Previous positions with the

City included the Assistant Director for the Community Development and

Utilities Departments. In these capacities, supervised engineering,

construction inspection and planning functions for new development

projects and utilities (water and wastewater) projects, administered

Community Facilities Districts and Landscaping and Lighting Districts.

Also, made presentations to the City Council, various city commissions

and community groups, and served as the primary staff member to the Mayor

on regional transportation planning issues associated with his role as a
