I have directed a team of designers, general managers,

superintendents to successfully perform a large-scale, multi-

year, resort renovation project with a federal governmental

agency.

I have performed Wind Mitigation Inspections, which entail onsite inspection of both

Commercial and Residential buildings. Followed by the documentation of existing

conditions and submitting detailed reports on those conditions, for SkyeTec, Jacksonville,

Florida, representing insurance companies such as Bankers, Citizens, State Farm, AAA

and others.

I consulted with United Construction Group of Miami, FL. on a portfolio of hotel renovation

projects, which included properties for Goldman Sachs, Marriott Hospitality and Hilton

Hotels. I also provided analysis of the plans and negotiated value engineered vendor and

subcontractor bids, for the winning budget proposal awarded to UCGM. Detailed

preparation of purchase orders for the buyout of all subcontracts and materials; which

delivered high value margins for UCGM.

CVC Hospitality Inc. VP of construction services 1998–2009 Orlando, Fl.

I was recruited by the owner of CVC Hospitality Inc. to assist in establishing the

procedures and strategies for the newly formed construction services division in 1998. I

performed duties of Project manager, exercised direct supervision of; office administrative

personnel, field supervisors, negotiated subcontractor and vendor proposals, created

purchase orders and sub-contracts. I originated formal presentations to customer

executive management to communicate details of project; budget and objectives.

I directed the administrative start up and close out of all field projects including; scheduling

sub-contractors, preparing permit submittals to local AHJ (authority having jurisdiction) and

quality control issues.

I had direct P&L responsibility for the Construction Services division. I was instrumental in

increasing hospitality construction sales from $500,000 in 1998 to in excess of $20 million.

I was the construction license qualifier for the State of Florida for CVC Hospitality Inc.

Cullison Construction Inc., a family owned enterprise, which was the foundation for my

construction experience. An exciting time to introduce a small business that was very

successful in Commercial and Residential renovation. I built a number of custom homes

around the Central Florida area as well as the mountains of Western North Carolina. I

obtained a construction license for the state of North Carolina in 1985.
