History
Web2 Enterprises (June 2008 - present) I wrote web content for new e-
commerce, social networking and multi-author blogging web sites. Content
included home page text, company profiles, FAQs, help, terms of service,
privacy policy and membership agreements. Additional projects included
concept presentations, marketing requirements, functional specifications
and promotional copy.
Intel Corporation (Consulting May 2007 - May 2008) Originally hired to
develop training presentations; I quickly became the lead writer on cross-
functional team projects. The teams were responsible for building channel
and consumer awareness about new motherboard technologies, remote network
management solutions, network storage solutions and network security
solutions.
While at Intel, I created web site content, data sheets, training video
scripts, webinar scripts, training presentations, sales presentations and
distance learning modules.
Calient Networks (Consultant to Employee Oct 2003 - Jan 2006) I was the
lead writer for a variety of technical, marketing and training projects
involving optical networking products and telecommunications solutions.
Technical writing projects included hardware installation manuals, software
end-user guides and a TL1 reference guide. Marketing communications
projects included data sheets, white papers, contributed articles,
presentations and web content. Training projects included sales and
technical training programs.
ASK, Inc. (Consultant 2003) Developed new web content for a professional
audio/visual systems integration business.
ICTV, Inc. (Employee 1996 - 2002, Consultant 2003) Hired to develop
technical documentation for an interactive IP TV technology platform.
Progressively became lead writer for a variety of technical, marketing and
training projects.
Projects included hardware installation and operation manuals, interactive
television user guides for consumers, web content, web site help systems,
training and sales presentations, trade show presentations, self-paced
multi-media courseware, customer support manuals. In addition, I developed
