Electrical Engineer

. Requires systems integration design, signal architecture, micro-

controllers, manufacturing assembly, test instrumentation, data

communication and input/output interface integration, design

documentation, and a proficiency with LabVIEW software. Project

management of test systems and test instrumentation in field

environments. Requires working knowledge of mechanical design CAD

software as well as designing and laying out circuits with PCB design

software for manufacturing prototypes. In 2005 and 2006, supported

test and evaluation activities utilizing SAIC's DL-500 DataLoggers for

real time TSPI event and data collection. This utilized a complete

system including GPS receivers and GPS antennas, UHF modems and UHF

antennas, beacon receivers, and computers.

16 channel RF data acquisition system. Frequently used Network

cooperative robotic agents.

. Assist in design and implementation of communication protocol for use

on robotic agents with wireless communication capabilities.

. Responsible for designing and implementing a system of heterogeneous

cooperative mobile robots to be used by the program for high-level

systems and control theory research. Project focuses on integrated

system design and encompasses circuit design and testing, hardware

design and testing, implementation of a wireless communication system,

extensive hardware interfacing including software drivers and

libraries, microcontroller programming and interfacing, medium and

high-level programming.. Responsible for being one of graduate mentor

for project, and handled much of the project's management along with

training of new team members.
