Grossmont Healthcare District, La Mesa CA
Project Scope: Parsons/Meta
Established management controls for the Grossmont Healthcare District in
support of several substantial campus improvement projects at Grossmont
Hospital. These projects include a new central plant, patient tower fit-
up, a second patient tower renovation and a new Diagnosis Treatment Center.
The program is somewhat unique in that it involves the coordination of
several entities including the District-contracted operations provider for
the facility, Sharp Healthcare. In addition to providing program
management services to Grossmont, Parsons will be augmenting staff
positions in support of Sharp Healthcare's facilities management for
several key positions relating to this effort.
Specific Role:
Mr. Meehan serves as senior program manager, managing a bond program with
their contractual operators, Sharp Healthcare. In this role, Tim provides
overall guidance and leadership of preconstruction and construction for the
five-year program including staff selection and development. In addition,
Mr. Meehan provides support to the Proposition G Independent Citizens' Bond
Oversight Committee (ICBOC).

Los Angeles County, USC Medical Center
Project Scope: Construction Manager of D&T building at LAC+USC Medical
Center Replacement Project. The diagnostics and treatment building is a
five-story, 430,000 GSF, base isolated structure. It houses some of the
most medically sophisticated services found in the replacement project
including diagnostic imaging, radiology, surgery, emergency services, core
lab, inpatient pharmacy, diagnostic center, central sterile supply,
radiology, inpatient pharmacy and roof mounted trauma helipad. This
structure is located between the outpatient department and the inpatient
tower and provides critical ancillary support to the rest of the hospital.
Specific Role:
Mr. Meehan was responsible for all aspects of the D&T project including
design/consultant management, construction management and coordination with
the client, LA County Department of Public Works. Tim also managed the
work of project managers, project engineers, and administrative personnel.

Senior Project Manager Pacific and Central Regions
Position Scope: Tim managed facility development for numerous facilities in
Humana's Pacific Region and Central Region. The Sr. Project Manager was
responsible for project scope definition, budgeting, management approvals,
Consultant selection and design management, Contractor selection and
construction management, Move in and Agency approvals. The Sr. Project
Manager was responsible to the Sr. Vice President of Design and
Construction for budget and schedule performance. Projects included new
construction, renovation and refurbishment of hospitals at corporate owned
facilities.

Huntington Beach Medical Center - Huntington Beach, California. $17
million. Responsible for all aspects of the construction of numerous
projects at Huntington Beach Medical Center. Tim's duties included project
initiation, scope definition, preliminary project budgeting, supervision of
design services, construction management and move transition. Completed
projects included interior refurbishments, ICU addition and expansion,
sprinkler system retro-fit, building upgrade, administration office
addition, MRI equipment installation and biological depression unit
renovation.
Saint Joseph East Hospital - Lexington, Kentucky. $28 million. As
senior project executive, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the
construction of numerous projects at St. Joseph Hospital East. Tim's
responsibilities included supervising design consultants, value
engineering, estimating, scheduling and cost control on numerous
projects over a multi-year period.
East Ridge Hospital - Chattanooga, Tennessee. $5 million. As senior
project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the construction of
numerous projects at Humana Hospital East Ridge. Tim's duties included
project initiation, scope definition, preliminary project budgeting,
supervision of design services, construction management and move
transition. Completed projects included interior renovations, electrical
room expansion and intensive care nursery addition.
Humana Hospital Tacoma - Tacoma, Washington. $4 million. As senior
project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the construction of
numerous projects at Humana Hospital Tacoma. Tim's duties included project
initiation, scope definition, preliminary project budgeting, supervision of
design services, construction management and move transition. Completed
projects included linear accelerator addition, HVAC modifications and
special procedures room renovation.
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital - Somerset, Kentucky. $5 million. As
senior project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the
construction of numerous projects at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Tim's duties included project initiation, scope definition, preliminary
project budgeting, supervision of design services, construction management
and move transition. Completed projects included linear accelerator
addition, labor and delivery addition, psychiatric unit renovation and
interior renovations.
Suburban Medical Center - Louisville, Kentucky. $15 million. As
senior project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the
construction of numerous projects at Suburban Medical Center. Tim's
duties included project initiation, scope definition, preliminary
project budgeting, supervision of design services, construction

Sunrise Hospital - Las Vegas, Nevada. $35 million. As senior project
manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the construction of
numerous projects at Sunrise Hospital. Tim's duties included project
initiation, scope definition, preliminary project budgeting, supervision of
design services, construction management and move transition. Completed
projects included:
University of Louisville Hospital - Louisville, Kentucky. $15 million - As
senior project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the
construction of numerous projects at University of Louisville Hospital.
Tim's duties included project initiation, scope definition, preliminary
project budgeting, supervision of design services, construction management
and move transition. Completed projects included labor/patient unit
renovations, HVAC modification, dining room renovation and delivery
addition and sleep study center renovation.
West Anaheim Medical Center - West Anaheim, California. $7 million. As
senior project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the
construction of numerous projects at West Anaheim Medical Center. Tim's
duties included project initiation, scope definition, preliminary project
budgeting, supervision of design services, construction management and move
transition. Completed projects included cardiac catheterization
renovation, emergency room expansion, OB unit addition/renovation and
facility interior refurbishment
West Hills Hospital - Canoga Park, California. $5.5 million. As senior
project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the construction of
numerous projects at West Anaheim Medical Center. Tim's duties included
project initiation, scope definition, preliminary project budgeting,
supervision of design services, construction management and move
transition. Completed projects included open heart surgical services
renovation and special procedures room renovation.
Westminster Community Hospital - Westminster, California. $4 million. As
senior project manager, Tim was responsible for all aspects of the
construction of numerous projects at Westminster Community Hospital. Tim's
duties included project initiation, scope definition, preliminary project
budgeting, supervision of design services, construction management and move
transition. Completed projects included ICU addition, HVAC modifications,
maintenance and code upgrades and dietary department renovation.
Yavapai Regional Medical Center- Prescott, Arizona, Senior Project
Estimator, $48 Million -As Senior Project Estimator, Tim was responsible
for the preparation of budgets and value engineering for numerous projects
at YRMC. Projects included in the capital construction program included a
new Greenfield hospital east of Prescott, a new North Tower addition at the
existing hospital, Imaging Department system upgrades including RF,
Endoscopy and Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Saint Joseph Hospital BNI Tower - Phoenix, Arizona, Senior Project
Estimator, $160 Million -As Senior Project Estimator, Tim assisted in the
preparation of budgets and value engineering for the Barrows Neurological
Institute addition at St. Joseph's Hospital. This project is a new 400,000-
SF patient tower. The addition includes 144 new patient beds devoted to
acute or intensive care, 48 new emergency beds, six trauma bays, 11
operating rooms and an inter-operative MRI suite
Banner Desert Medical Center - Mesa, Arizona, $3 Million -As Senior Project
Estimator, Tim prepared the project budget, value engineering suggestions
and constructability reviews for numerous on-going facility improvements
including a Linear Accelerator Addition and Sterile Processing Department
Remodel.
Country Wide Office Facility - Chandler, Arizona $47 Million As Senior
Project Estimator, Tim work with the team to prepare the project budget,
value engineering suggestions and constructability reviews for two (2)
175,000sf Office Buildings and an 800 car parking structure at their
Chandler Arizona location. By providing value-engineering studies early in
the design process, this project came in well under budget and the move
transition was accomplished early.
West World Multiuse Facility - City of Scottsdale, Scottsdale, Arizona, $35
Million - As Senior Project Estimator, Tim prepared the project budget,
value engineering suggestions and constructability reviews for the
Westworld Multi-Use Exposition Center at Westworld in Scottsdale, AZ. This
project involved at 200,000 SF exposition center with major site
improvements. Tim was responsible for preparing cost estimates, value
engineering, constructability reviews, identification of long lead items,
scheduling, sub-bidding, Guaranteed Maximum Pricing (GMP), and other
preconstruction services.
Phoenix Convention Center Phase 1 and 2 - Phoenix, Arizona, $600 Million -
As Senior Project Estimator, Tim worked on the team that prepared, value
engineering suggestions and constructability reviews for the Phoenix
Convention Center Replacement Project Phases 1 & 2. Phase 1 is a new
terrace building consisting of 200,000 SF of exhibition meeting and
ballroom space with a below grade parking garage. Phase 2 includes the
demolition of the existing North Building and constructing a new 600,000 SF
building that will house additional exhibition and meeting rooms and will
also have a parking structure with loading docks.
Atrium 1 & 2 - Cincinnati, Ohio, $80 Million- As Assistant Superintendent,
Tim was responsible for all aspects of the construction of two concrete
high rises in downtown Cincinnati. Atrium 1 is a 20-story building with
below grade parking and 556,509 SF of floor space. Atrium 2 is a 30-story
building with below grade parking and 668,000 SF of floor space. Tim was
responsible for engineering, quality control and schedule implementation
for both buildings.
Procter & Gamble Corporate Headquarters - Cincinnati, Ohio $75 Million- As
Quality Engineer, Tim was responsible for field engineering and quality
control during the construction phase of the corporate headquarter
building in Cincinnati. This project consisted of 800,000 SF of offices
with twin 24 story towers.
