Position applying for: Central Sterile Tech I - St. Paul

Dear Sir or Madam:

I would like to apply for the Central Sterile Tech I position posted on the

UT Southwestern Medical Center website.

I have completed a seven month classroom course at MedVance Institute in

Grand Prairie in Sterile Processing with an excellent academic record. I

am currently in externship at Doctor's Hospital at White Rock Lake to be

completed at the end of November. I have so far completed very good work

there setting up instrument sets, wrapping, starting washers, and

sterilizers. I have also covered materials management with pick sheets

covering par values for the OR's. I will be continuing my education there

for six more weeks and am getting excellent training there as it is an

excellent hospital as is UT Southwestern Medical Center.

I am not yet certified, but am confident I could pass the certification

exam right now. I would like to interview for this position at UT

Southwestern Medical Center.
