Center including troubleshooting, maintenance, installations, routine

Reuters equipment including RTDS, Full Tick, BON, RSS-PSS servers,

. Logically troubleshot communications, network and system problems

paying particular attention to client needs. Supported GSC in

trouble shooting and resolving new network migration remote PE calls

from clients.

. Nominated as remote PE SPOK (lead person) to manage and assign

network migration and clarify tickets from GSC within group

technicians. Requests include but not limited to support installing

or configuration changes in clients' routers and switches,

configuration upgrades to clients' connection to PE routers,

migration from old routers to new routers. Trained group

and NMS.

system are acted upon according to targets and procedures detailed

in the service level agreements.

including communications circuit outages as detailed in escalation

. Successfully tested new circuits and systems including DS3, OC3,

OC12, MetroE, OC48 using T-Berd and optical agilent test system.

Successfully completed Regression testing on new CISCO IOS codes in

2400, 3600, 3800 CISCO router series. The testing includes the

following

o DLCI inactive testing: Tested IAD T1 0 outage, PVC failure, PVC

failure on MGX/BPX, power failure on IAD and CPE, v.35 cable

failure.

o FRF5/FRF8 network and service inter-work testing: Throughput and

packet loss testing using different clock speed on serial port,

connect statement between ATM and Frame Relay.

o Ethernet ISP testing: Verified data throughput using different DS0

of Ethernet setup on Ethernet interface. Set up Ethernet testing

using VLAN on Cisco catalyst switch 2900, TCP/IP addressing and

routing.

o Utilized smart bits, smart application, chariot test equipment for

testing purpose

o Retrieved old routers and installed and configured new Cisco

routers in lab.

Network Technical support (March 2000-July 2005)

. Resolved T1 outages by verifying alarm received, sectionalized trouble

condition (customer, facility, etc network), handed off tickets to CTC

dispatch or Verizon, SNET, Penn Tel, Frontier carrier, very effective

in escalating carrier troubles to manager/director level to get the

job done, detailed oriented at logging entries in Metasolv in timely

manner.

. Successfully installed T1 including Power net PRI and internet by

verifying CTC network clean and loops dropped, testing head to head at

demarc with carrier technicians, verified and documented demarc

information, completed order with carrier, and completed metasolv

database tasks.

. Troubleshot outages using CISCO 3810, 2421, 3661, AN30 (digital) IADS.

Familiar with architecture and commands of above IADS. Verified and

reported errors, voice-frame-internet services verification, physical

interface connections, logical configuration and modification on CISCO

IADS, verification of customer affecting code issues (wedged input

queue, hung voice channels, voice call summary).

. Resolved CTC related circuit troubles including unframed-out of framed

issues, determined IAD-ROM-MON condition, PVC failures, IAD

misconfiguration, CFA issues, isolated internal-external DS3-STS-

OPTICAL carrier issues using DSI-DS3 Xconnect spread sheet, diagnosed

trouble areas of voice-data-internet and transferred tickets to

respective queues.

. Recognized by CTC branches, CTC communicator, customers for dedication

to outstanding services and high level of professionalism.
