Projects
• 3D graphic render
Designing renderer in C++ capable of reading a .obj file and render a 3D object with shading ( flat/ Gouraud/ Phong) and
Texturing ( image/ procedural).
• Interactive water ripple effect
Presently working on an Open GL application, which produces water ripple effect on mouse click. Simultaneously working
on Open GL ES to develop an iPhone version of it.
• Aerodromed' iPhone/iPad/iPhone game
Player has to manage aircrafts by maneuvering them to land and take off. Contributed in programming, concept, music and
artwork of the game. The final version will be compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone 4 and iPad.
• USC Tour Guide for Android and iPhone mobile platform
Application targeted for the Android and iPhone platform to guide users reach destinations within USC, University Park Campus.
The application also informs users about on campus events.

iAm for Android mobile platform
Developed an application to revolutionize phone contacts where the user would get suggestion whether it is the right time to call a
person or not, based on the context (activity and the location) of the person at the other end. Suggestions would be pushed from the
back end server onto the Android phone via HTTP. The application has been developed for Android platform. The application was
deployed on G1 mobile phone.

Peer to peer file sharing application
This project gave me exposure to work on complex projects as it involved writing more than eleven thousand lines of C code. The
application had close resemblance to Freenet, peer to peer file sharing system. Used gdb profusely to debug the code.

Web Crawler
Developed a Perl web crawler, a multi browser website crawling application to extract the current channel, play list and
sponsored videos from YouTube website.

Facebook Flickr mash up using Java Servlets and AJAX
Implemented image search on Flickr based on location and upload it on Facebook wall. APIs used: Facebook APIs and
Google geo coding API
Work Experience
• Embedded system developer, intern at PHAT Energy, La Crescenta, California [August 2010 – Present]
Firmware up gradation of the PHATLogger device to remove bugs in the C code as well as enable Bluetooth communication
with a smart phone. Successfully resolved data logging issues by redesigning backend MySQL database and rewriting the
backend PHP code.

Lead Android developer, intern at Okkanym Dositek, Burbank, California [May 2010 – August 2010]
Responsibility of the internship involved designing an Android interactive comic book application.

Student worker at ITS Network Operation Services, USC [September 2009 – May 2010]
Responsibilities include monitoring of USC, UPC network and monitoring USC servers. Network monitoring tools used:
Intermapper and Nagios.
